The rest of ohio was uneventful. I raced through the hills to try to make it to my Brother's graduation on time. Three days over 70 miles. I was making great time but seeing almost nothing. This is not how I normally like to ride, but is was necessary due to the previous delays in Indiana. When I got closer to West Virginia the scenery improved, making the hills worth it.

Wheeling West Virginia was a fun town. I stoped for lunch at a cute cafe called Later Alligator. It was owner by a kind lady named Susan who after hearing about my trip bought my lunch and wished me well. At the brewery in town, I met an interesting man who told me how Appalachian folks are made different and that he makes, beer, mead, and moonshine at his house. It was a nice introduction to the Appalachians. Unfortunately I spent too much time talking and didn't make it to my campsite until after sunset, a first for the trip.
